Yes! You read that right! Imagine eating copious amounts of fried chicken to your heart’s delight. I’m not too ashamed to admit I’ve zoned out before during meetings thinking about impossibly crunchy battered Korean fried chicken, and then having someone nudge me back to reality to tell me that there is drool pooling on my desk. Time to put on your stretchy pants because Restaurant Mon Ami – home to Montreal’s best Korean fried chicken, now has a location that serves all you can eat fried chicken… only it’s also one of the best all you can eat Korean barbecue restaurants in the city. What? Let me explain.
NDG / Westmount
Every neighbourhood likes to have things to call their own. Like a watering-hole for a casual 5 à 7, maybe a boutique specializing in incense and dream-catchers or even the dep that sells loosies and wine coolers to under age kids. But most importantly, any neighbourhood worth their weight in pot-hole fodder has a local pizza joint. I recently hit up a local pizza place – Bacaro Urban Pizzeria for some delicious traditional thin-crust pies.
Every neighbourhood needs needs certain things to call their own: the corner depanneur, the crazy cat lady, that house with the nine kids, and a neighbourhood burger joint. Recently the lovely citizens of NDG welcomed a new burger joint, Notre-Boeuf-de-Grâces on Sherbrooke in NDG. The spot prides themselves on having ground beef ground on premises daily, and you know what that means… pink burgers! If you like your burgers well done and akin to eating a cork coaster, check your pulse because you don’t know what living is all about.
