Uniburger Week 2016 – Uniting for Uniburger

When people say “March Madness”, they’re not talking about basketball, they’re talking about UNIBURGER WEEK. Starting today, until March 20th, Uniburger is celebrating their third anniversary with a bang. The huge success of last year’s “Uniburger Week” is back again with an allstar studded lineup of top Montreal chefs that will take over the Uniburger kitchen to bring their own signature spin on the classic Uniburger.

Each day this week, a different chef will be commandeering the Uniburger (Ontario Street location) kitchen to serve up their interpretation of the classic Uniburger. Profits on each signature burger will be donated to the charity of the chef’s choice.

This year’s lineup is one to get excited about:
Liam Barron (Loïc)
Colin Perry (Dinette Triple Crown)
Stephen Leslie (Taverne Monkland, Tavern On The Square, Brasserie LE SIEUR D’IBERVILLE)
Marc-Olivier Frappier (Le Vin Papillon, Joe Beef)
Emma Cardarelli (Nora Gray Restaurant)
Danny Smiles (Le Bremner)
Marc-André Leclerc (Grumman78)

Liam Barron (Loïc) – Breakfast Sausage Patty, Egg Square (Omelette), Pickles, Potato Latke and our Uniburger sauce.

Colin Perry (Dinette Triple Crown) – Dinette Triple Crown Fried Chicken, Fermented Cayenne Hot Sauce, Bread & Butter Pickles, “Duke’s” Style Mayonnaise and Lettuce.

Stephen Leslie (Taverne Monkland, Tavern On The Square, Brasserie LE SIEUR D’IBERVILLE) – Pork in Fish Sauce, Palm Sugar, Garlic, Chillies, Coriander with Pickles and Mayo.

Marc-Olivier Frappier (Le Vin Papillon, Joe Beef) – Cheeseburger w/ Lettuce, Pickles, Ketchup, Mustard with Special Meat Sauce and Fries INSIDE the Burger.

Emma Cardarelli (Nora Gray Restaurant) – Breaded fried veal cutlets, provolone cheese, marinated banana peppers, grilled radicchio and Sunday sauce.

Danny Smiles (Le Bremner) – Le Bremner fried chicken burger with Uniburger sauce, and Haitian pikliz.

If you can’t make it down to the restaurant but need to get in on one of these burgers, the team at Foodora will be delivering 10-20 burgers per day AND will be donating another $10 per burger to the chef’s selected charity. If that’s not a reason to pound a burger or two or three this week, I don’t know what is.
